Smithereens Mushroom

Based out of Smithers B.C., Smithereens Mushroom began as a passionate exploration into the culinary and medicinal virtues of mushrooms and has blossomed into a comprehensive wellness endeavor.

Owner’s Marie-Eve and Alexis wanted a logo based on a drawing Alexis had done of a smurf’s house. It needed to evoke ‘natural’ and take inspiration from the surrounding Smithers wildreness. It also needed to be fun and approachable to attract a wide range of customers.

The fonts used were chosen because they are classy but fun, bold and friendly while the colours were taken from photos of the surrounding mountain ranges to give it that extra special touch. The end result wowed Marie-Eve and Alexis and is one of my favourite works to date!
