Chef Girl & Bar Boy

Chef Girl & Bar Boy, wanted to refresh and update their catering brand to better reflect their vibrant style and unique offerings. Since the head chef’s daughter had originally created the name and logo, we chose to honor her design by using it as the foundation for the new look. We developed a lively, custom superhero-inspired font that draws from the energetic style of comic book sound effects, complemented by retro dot textures to add depth and visual interest. Bright, eye-catching colors were carefully selected to make the design pop. To emphasize their culinary focus, we incorporated a chili and lime wedge, directly linking the imagery to their food business. The result is a bold, flavorful logo that perfectly represents their brand identity.

Colouring Sheet

Once a month Angie and Team host a family-friendly community dinner known as ‘First Friday. Between 6-8pm, families mingle, play lawn bowls and eat some tasty kai. But what happens when the wild Wellington weather kicks off? I pitched the idea of a comic book style colouring sheet to provide some entertainment for the kids and a reprieve for the adults. Angie loved it, and so did the kids.
